Lunch in “Varanda do Alentejo” with an unique view and one of the best cuisines of the region: “alentejano” bread, “paio”, Nisa cheese, olives and Marvão olive oil, tomato soup, Potato Migas (the traditional Migas from Marvão) with pork meat and "Sericaia" for dessert, everything with regional wine to accompany.
Visit to the village of Marvão: a village surrounded by a continuous and intact wall where it is possible to experience breathtaking views.
We’ll continue our journey in “Lagar Museu” of Galegos - small village very close to Spain - to get to know all the equipment and the “making of” of an olive oil production. We’ll end with an olive oil tasting session.
We'll get back to Quinta do Barreiro to start our “Cooking Class with art”: kick-off of the preparation of the starters with a glass of wine in our hand. While we cook, among a lot of talk, we’ll discover the story of Alentejo’s gastronomy.
